Imprint on the Dance Floor

Fading was the summer breeze,
the city lights down below,
the neon signs flashing,
and the reflections of casual traffic
below the SFU Pub
into particles and rays of lights
as I slowly began to open my eyes
and saw us dancing
faster and faster
to the fiddling and drums
of the music
